Sales Executive

Location: Bridgend Head Office 

Position: Full Time / Permanent 

Department: Sales / Commercial 

Due to continued growth CSG have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join the organisation specifically selling IT Managed Services and / or Telecommunication services. You will develop new business with clients across Wales and South West England and have experience of IT / Telecom services and the market place. The successful candidate will provide a range of ICT solutions.

Role responsibilities:

  • Primarily selling on premise or hosted IT & telecoms systems from main stream vendors.
  • Generating new business leads, existing contacts, cold calling and market knowledge.
  • Tracking / reporting open opportunities and maintaining a pipeline of business to meet agreed targets.
  • Closing business and consistently hitting monthly revenue & profit targets.
  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager to monitor opportunities and performance.

Applicants should possess experience of working in similar role within the IT & Telecoms industry, with the ability to establish and build effective long term relationships while demonstrating commercial awareness and negotiation skills. The ability to effectively communicate with a spectrum of people is crucial and will need to “hit the ground running.” You will have experience of solution selling and the skills required to deliver these whilst speaking with business owners, directors and other “C” level contacts. 

Desired skills and experience to include:

  • Solid understanding and experience of the IT Services / Data Centre / Telecommunications industry (Hosted Voice, SIP/VoIP desirable).
  • 3 Years minimum experience of selling Managed Services / Microsoft / VMware and vendor Telephone Solutions.
  • Professional written and presentational skills for delivering winning proposals.

The successful candidate will have the desire to take ownership of tasks set with an ability to see everything through to completion in a professional manner.

Due to continued growth CSG have exciting opportunities for ambitious engineer(s) to join our Service Desk at our Head Office in Bridgend.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused IT support infrastructure professionals, passionate about technology who enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technological trends. 

We are urgently looking for engineers who are professional and can demonstrate a proficient technical capability. People who are able to work confidently under pressure and within a busy working environment. Keeping on top of the latest technologies and trends is an important element of these roles as is understanding their importance and purpose within a business environment/context.

The role(s) requires daily management of our reactive and proactive support tickets, which includes call logging and troubleshooting issues within time constraints and where possible resolve support queries or diagnosing issues, which forms a significant part of the roles.

Being a part of our on-call services rota for our customers is expected and travel to and from customer sites will be required. 

Desired skills and experience to include:

  • Microsoft Office & Office 365
  • AV Products 
  • WAN, LAN and WLAN
  • Windows Server operating systems (2003-2016)

  • Exposure to SLA Management previously
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Full and valid UK driver’s license
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer engagement skills
  • Strong prioritisation and practical problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer services and communication skills (written, face to face and by telephone)
