Luxury golf and spa resort streamlines payroll and prepares for Auto Enrolment with Opera 3 business and payroll solution
The Celtic Manor is a luxury golf and spa resort situated in Newport, South Wales. It was the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup which was the first to be held in Wales and will host the 2014 NATO summit.
It is also the first and only 5* hotel in Wales.
With a diverse workforce, Celtic Manor relies upon software to process both weekly and monthly payroll and generate reports for the senior management team.
Celtic Manor were looking to assess its entire workforce, categorising employees into Eligible Jobholders, Non-Eligible Jobholders and Entitled Worker status, before automatically enrolling those who are eligible or opt-in. Crucially, the process needed to be managed on an ongoing basis to ensure changes were implemented when appropriate and live records were maintained.
Following a successful transition to RTI, Pegasus Opera 3 will be integral as the resort prepares for its Auto Enrolment staging date. CSG reviewed the software requirements and recommended implementing Opera 3 across all areas. CSG also advised on the better use of functionality and processes within the software and improved recovery on employee data and categorisation.
