Bridgend, Wales – November 26, 2025
CSG proudly took part in Wales Tech Week 2025, joining two dynamic sessions under the Talent4Tech banner: “Hack the Future – Break into Cyber Security” and “Blind Career Date.” These interactive events were designed to connect young people and career changers with real-world insights into the tech industry, helping them explore pathways into one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world.

Hack the Future – Break into Cyber Security brought together leading voices from across the industry to share practical advice on entering the cyber security field. Eve Oliver, marketing manager at CSG and a CyberFirst Ambassador, joined an expert panel alongside representatives from Admiral Group, Thales, and PwC. The discussion focused on the skills, mindset and opportunities that can help aspiring professionals thrive in cyber roles.
The Blind Career Date session added a unique twist: panelists answered audience questions without revealing their job titles, challenging attendees to decide which career path appealed most based on responses. This innovative format sparked curiosity and highlighted the diversity of roles within tech.
Reflecting on the day, Eve Oliver, marketing manager at CSG, commented:
“Talent4Tech is an incredible initiative that opens doors for the next generation of tech talent. It was inspiring to see so many young people eager to learn about cyber security and the wider tech industry. Events like this are vital for building confidence, breaking down barriers, and showing that a career in technology is accessible to anyone with ambition. A huge thank you to the team at Technology Connected for their support and for creating such a valuable platform.”
