CSG are partnered with Microsoft to help bring AI-first business processes to more organisations, get started today.

Microsoft have announced new agentic capabilities that will accelerate business results and help empower your team. CSG are partnered with Microsoft to help bring AI-first business processes to more organisations, get started today.

  • The ability to create autonomous agents with Copilot Studio will be in public preview next month.
  • Microsoft are introducing ten new autonomous agents in Dynamics 365 to build capacity for every sale, service, finance and supply chain team.

Copilot is your AI assistant – it operates for you – and Copilot Studio allows you to effortlessly create, manage, and link agents to Copilot. Think of agents as the new apps for an AI-driven world.

Each organisation will have a network of agents – ranging from basic prompt-and-response systems to completely autonomous ones. These agents will perform tasks for individuals, teams, or functions, handling and coordinating business processes.

Copilot will be the interface for interacting with these agents, enabling them to handle diverse activities, from speeding up lead generation and processing sales orders to automating supply chains.

Empowering more customers to build autonomous agents in Copilot Studio

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced a host of powerful new capabilities in Copilot Studio, including the ability to create autonomous agents. Next month, these capabilities are shifting from private to public preview, allowing more customers to reimagine critical business processes with AI.

Agents draw on the context of your work data in Microsoft 365 Graph, systems of record, Dataverse and Fabric, and can support everything such as employee onboarding to act as a personal concierge for sales and service.

Scaling your teams with 10 new autonomous agents in Dynamics 365

New autonomous agents allow customers to transition from outdated business applications to AI-driven processes. AI is currently the source of immediate returns and will be the key to future competitiveness. These agents are crafted to assist sales, service, finance, and supply chain teams in enhancing business value, marking only the beginning.

Microsoft plan to develop numerous additional agents over the coming year to ensure that our customers stay ahead of their competition. Today, they are unveiling ten of these autonomous agents. Here are some examples:

  • Sales Qualification Agent: In a profession where time literally equals money, this agent enables sellers to focus their time on the highest priority sales opportunities while the agent research leads, helps priorities opportunities and guides customer outreach with personalised emails and responses.
  • Supplier Communications Agent: This agent enables customers to optimize their supply chain and minimise costly disruptions by autonomously tracking supplier performance, detecting delays and responding accordingly — freeing procurement teams from time consuming manual monitoring and firefighting.
  • Customer Intent and Customer Knowledge Management Agents: These agents revolutionize customer care by assisting representatives in resolving issues and autonomously creating knowledge-based articles, helping teams manage high call volumes, talent shortages, and elevated customer expectations effectively.

Security

With the increasing presence of agents in enterprise settings, customers require assurance of strong data governance and security. The new agents integrated into Dynamics 365 uphold Microsoft’s fundamental principles of security, privacy, and responsible AI.

Agents created using Copilot Studio incorporate essential guardrails and controls as defined by the maker’s instructions, knowledge, and actions. The data sources associated with these agents conform to rigorous security protocols and measures, all managed within Copilot Studio.

These include data loss prevention and advanced authentication mechanisms, among other safeguards. Following the creation of these agents, IT administrators can deploy a comprehensive array of features to regulate their usage.
