Prior to partnering with CSG, TSW operated with an internal IT manager and relied on a traditional approach to technology management. While this model provided a degree of stability, it struggled to keep pace with growing business needs and the increasing complexity of cyber security threats.  

Staff faced prolonged response times for support requests and concerns grew regarding data protection, mobile device management and overall cyber security awareness. Recognising the need for a forward-thinking IT partner, TSW sought a replacement that could deliver genuine improvements. 

Transitioning to CSG 

In 2022, TSW made the decision to transition its IT operations from an internal manager to partnering with CSG. This marked the beginning of our ongoing three-year collaboration that focuses on strengthening TSW’s technology foundations.

Solutions

CSG’s proactive monitoring and support services replaced the ad hoc approach of the past, ensuring issues were resolved promptly and systems remained robust. 

A major milestone was TSW’s achievement of Cyber Essentials certification, a testament to the organisation’s commitment to cyber security best practices.  

CSG guided TSW through the certification process, addressing vulnerabilities, deploying critical updates, and establishing clear protocols for managing devices and data.  

Regular cyber security awareness training sessions were introduced, equipping staff with the knowledge to recognise and respond to threats, greatly reducing the risk of breaches and human error. 

Cyber security  

CSG’s expertise in cyber security was instrumental in transforming TSW’s security posture. The introduction of structured awareness programmes fostered a culture of vigilance among employees, with workshops and practical guidance.  

Mobile device management policies were enforced, ensuring both company-owned and personal devices adhered to strict security standards. Through a collaborative effort, CSG and TSW navigated the Cyber Essentials certification process, receiving formal recognition for robust security controls and incident response capabilities.
