How CSG supports your business with Copilot
Adopting AI securely requires more than simply switching it on. As a trusted Microsoft partner, CSG ensures Copilot enhances productivity without increasing cyber risk.
Ensuring you’re using the right Copilot licence
CSG helps you understand the differences between Copilot options and ensures you’re using the right Copilot for your business needs. This helps avoid over‑licensing, under‑licensing or using consumer AI tools that lack business‑grade protection.
Making sure your data is ready for AI, securely
Copilot only works as well as the data it can access. We review permissions, sharing and data locations to ensure Copilot delivers value without exposing sensitive information or amplifying existing oversharing risks.
Protecting your business with built‑in Microsoft security controls
We help you apply and optimise Microsoft security features [including identity controls, access permissions and data protection policies] so that Copilot operates safely within your existing Microsoft 365 environment.
Preventing data leakage and shadow AI risks
CSG helps businesses reduce reliance on unapproved AI tools by enabling Copilot correctly. This keeps AI usage auditable, governed and compliant, rather than creating blind spots or security risks.
Helping your team get real value from Copilot
Secure AI adoption isn’t just technical, it’s practical. We guide your users on how to use Copilot effectively and responsibly, so productivity increases without compromising data security or compliance.
Ongoing governance, not a one‑off setup
AI usage guidance changes quickly. CSG provides ongoing support to review permissions, refine controls and adapt Copilot usage as your business grows, ensuring AI remains an asset, not a risk.

What's new in Copilot?
Updated 28/05/2026 – Microsoft’s May updates show a clear shift that Copilot is continuing to move from a simple AI assistant to a more context-aware, workflow-driven productivity tool.
- improved data grounding and in-app workflows, users can now pull emails directly into Copilot chats from Outlook and even open and analyse PDFs without leaving the Copilot experience
- Copilot Notebooks have improved into a more powerful “project workspace.” Instead of one-off prompts, users can now bring together documents, meetings, notes and web content into a single environment, where Copilot can reason over that data and turn it into outputs like presentations, summaries or mind maps
- strong focus on productivity and user experience improvements, including a redesigned app launcher, new “Create” tools for generating content, and smarter research capabilities. These updates aim to make Copilot feel more embedded across Microsoft 365 and easier to use day-to-day
