Take a look at what the company and team have been getting upto over the last four months; from charity fundraisers to new partnerships.

CSG Lunch and Learns

In January, CSG kicked off its Lunch and Learns; monthly seminars to provide additional training to IT managers free of charge. The first session focused on Backup and Disaster Recovery. A really interesting session run by our partners at Datto, it highlighted the need for strong business continuity plans in the event of a disaster such as a fire, flood, or ransomware attack.

February was all about unified communications and collaborative working. Our partners at Gamma gave an informative presentation on moving to the cloud, unified communications and the benefits it can bring to your business.

The Cold Truth Sleep Out

Staff raised over £400 as part of The Cold Truth sleep out on Thursday 20th February 2020, and spent one night sleeping outside the Liberty Stadium to raise money and awareness surrounding the issue of homelessness. The event was not a comparison to the life of a homeless person, but we wanted to highlight some of the challenges faced. Alongside our client, E.G. Lewis Group, over £25,000 was raised in total!

Award Winning

CSG are thrilled to have won the People Development Award at the South Wales Business Growth Awards on 6th March. This award recognised the businesses who put their people at the heart of everything they do, enabling and inspiring their team through professional and personal development opportunities and support. Judges looked for remarkable results achieved through engaged, valued, capable, purpose-driven people as well as evidence of an effective learning and development framework. Well done to all of the team!

Charity Work

CSG Computer Services has chosen Keep Children Safe Online (KCSO) to work with over the next 12 months as a gold partner. This means the company can select a number of primary schools in the local area to send important cyber security resource packs to, as well as run educational workshops. Unlike any other organisation, KCSO works directly with children; educating and teaching them in a practical way about staying safe online. KCSO’s unique interactive education platform utilises award winning technology to help children from age four learn the rules of the internet jungle in a practical way.

Keep an eye out for our next update!
