Full overview:

We would like you to join us at a CSG event, in partnership with Sophos Security and South West Police Regional Cyber Crime Unit to discuss the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will come into effect on 25 May 2018. That might sound far away but the GDPR contains some new ambitious, far-reaching and onerous rules on the use of personal data. The risks of being unprepared could be costly: fines could be up to 4% of worldwide turnover or £20,000,000!

CSG will be discussing proactive approaches to using a combination of industry-leading tools designed to provide businesses with extremely high levels of protection for their client files, data, and systems. Looking at a multi-layered approach to breaches, securing your infrastructure, endpoints, mobile devices and internet connections against emerging cyber threats.

With over 3 billion known security breaches affecting small, medium and large enterprises within the last 12 months, it is critical that your organisation has a robust strategy towards these regulations governance and accountability.

There will be presentations on key topics;

GDPR Overview: Sophos & CSG

GDPR Principles, Who does the GDPR apply to? GDPR in summary: Sophos

GDPR & National Cyber Security Strategy & Policing Approach: Det. Ins Edward Heath, South West Police (RCCU)
