CSG secure £35,000 IP Telephony contract
In October we secured a new IP Telephony contract worth over £35,000 which was overseen by our team of Mitel certified engineers and we have seen three new members of staff joining the team!
We have seen a flurry of more and more companies take us up on our offer of supplying our FREE network and security evaluations as we look to continue this into 2016!
CSG grow cloud and colocation services
Since January we acquired more and more space at out Tier 3 data centre due to continual growth in cloud and colocation services for our clients. Over the last twelve months we have taken on substantial amounts of space at the centre which in turn will benefit our clients and improve their business continuity to the fullest. This is another positive step to providing exceptional resilience in making sure that our client’s business critical systems are secure and always readily available.
HP Preferred Partner Accreditation
Last year CSG have were awarded HP Preferred Partner Accreditation from Hewlett Packard. As a HP preferred partner, CSG are recognised and authorised to supply and support the wide range of HP products such as laptops, tablets, desktops, monitors, printers and servers to name but a few.
Our current clients include organisations and businesses such as Ty Hafan, Dow Corning and Ospreys Rugby. The business was established in 1985 by our current Managing Director Ron Vyse and has since then grown rapidly to include offices in the South West of England (Bristol, Exeter) and South Wales (Bridgend). We employ over 30 specialist IT technicians to support our clients both on site and via a 24 hour support desk.
As a provider of managed IT services, we supply, install and support a number of market leading software packages, telephony, and IT systems for businesses and organizations throughout Wales and the South West of England.
We also provide a proactive support and implementation service for the Pegasus and SAGE software suites, as well as a bespoke software development service that tailors software to meet the exact requirements of our clients.
How has our service offering changed over the years?
When we first established ourselves in the industry, technology was far from advanced, we originally specialised in providing IT support services to businesses throughout South Wales, but as the industry started to change and new technology came in to play, we expanded our service offering quite significantly.
Over the years, the hiring of IT support technicians with diverse skill sets and expertise has allowed us to introduce a wide range of services that includes; data centre support, virtualization, email management, IT infrastructure, network cabling, IP telephony, e-mail management and bespoke software development.
What we have learned from providing IT support to small businesses
From working alongside businesses In South Wales, the South West and Exeter, we have gained an in depth knowledge of how they are on run on a daily basis and the levels of support they need.
