Microsoft Co-Pilot Gives You Your Own Personal Assistant!
You may have seen the recent updates released by Microsoft regarding their new ‘Copilot’ features that are being added to 365. This proves to be an exciting time for 365 users, as Microsoft leverages the increasing use of AI to make businesses more efficient, and more productive and reduce some of the slog that many of us face when dealing with files, data, emails, customers etc.

Perhaps one of the most interesting and exciting features to come to Copilot is their new feature, Business Chat.
Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), Business Chat is a chatbot experience that works across your Microsoft 365 apps and your data. Including your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings and contacts — to do things you’ve never been able to do before. You can give it natural language prompts like “Tell my team how we updated the product strategy,” and it will generate a status update based on the morning’s meetings, emails and chat threads.
Business Chat works across all your business data and apps to surface the information and insights you need from a sea of data — so knowledge flows freely across the organisation, saving you valuable time searching for answers.
You will be able to access Business Chat from Microsoft 365.com, from Bing when you’re signed in with your work account, or from Teams.
You’ll be able to search for things and ask questions such as …
- “Did anything happen yesterday with [customer X]?”
- “Tell me what has changed on the project timeline”
- “Write a new planning overview in the style of [filename A] that contains the planning timeline from [filename B] and incorporates the project list in the email from [person].”
