CSG Computer Services Group, one of Wales’ longest established IT companies, has welcomed two new staff and two apprentices across three departments as it prepares for one of its busiest years yet.

Dameon Merilaht joins CSG as an Account Manager, responsible for continuing to grow accounts across Wales. Chantelle Sobey joins as the new Digital Marketing Manager. As well as two full time staff, CSG has also added to its apprentice team, welcoming Jack Lawrence and Luke Hood who are both completing an apprenticeship in IT Technical Support. At the end of training, should they wish, they will join the helpdesk as qualified first line support engineers.

The company is also recruiting for a 2nd and 3rd Line Support Engineer as well as offering an additional apprenticeship within the software team. The focus on recruitment comes after the business invested heavily in new software aimed at providing customers with the best and most secure support management solution on the market.

Ron Vyse, managing director of CSG Computer Services Group, said:

“Following a substantial investment in new software technology, we have brought in additional staff as we gear up for an extremely busy year. Our new system allows us to service and support our customers more efficiently, whilst adhering to the demands of the most recent legislation.

“There are several other changes being made within the company including additional training for all staff and a redesign of our head office in Bridgend. 2019 has already started with a bang and we are very excited for what the rest of year will bring.”
