Unlike many of our competitors we have undertaken a variety of commercial and residential projects on price work, and enjoy having a large site presence when necessary.

To help accommodate upcoming growth, MPR required an IT partner to help them adopt a new way of working that would allow them to access company data from any location at any time, on any device, with appropriate access control provisions in place to protect company data. Backup and security services were lacking, and advice was needed to help the business improve on these fronts also.

Emails were migrated away from the current GoDaddy host to MPR’s own 365 tenant and base level security hardening was configured; DMARC Policy for email verification and most importantly Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to improve access. Azure Active Directory (AD) now also allows for central management of all identities within the 365 tenant.  

Data was then migrated from local desktops to MS OneDrive and SharePoint, with permissions configured appropriately to restrict access to sensitive data.

Datto SaaS Protection was then deployed against all MS 365 accounts to provide a daily backup of all content held within Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint & Teams with 1yr cloud retention. 

Sophos Email Advanced was introduced to filter inbound/outbound mail to filter out any malicious content reaching employee mailboxes. Sophos Intercept X Advanced was deployed to all Endpoints, offering next-gen Anti-Ransomware protection. 

To complement the above, CSG’s IT Managed Service offering is in place to provide end-user support, as well as proactive account management to ensure MPR are aware of the latest technology and security advancements.
