Step One

Introduction

New Vehicle Solutions provides a buying service for cars or commercial vehicles. They also specialise in bespoke vehicles. They had an aged Siemens system that had a large ongoing cost. With a constant reliance on telecoms services, it was necessary that recommendations were made in the event of system down time. They asked us to advise on and implement a solution that would strengthen the businesses continuity and provide an uplift in technology.

Step Two

Proposals and Recommendations

Following analysis of the telecoms in place, we recommended that they move to the CSG Cloud Telephony Platform and undertook a full hardware refresh. We also suggested that they implement call analytics and integrate mobile phones across the board.

Step Three

The Onboarding

Following discussions and approval from New Vehicle Solutions, we moved them onto the CSG Cloud Telephony Platform with existing numbers being retained and migrated. We deployed Polycom VX411 handsets for all users and provided ongoing training to key staff, with further changes being made to ensure the system better suited the needs of the team. Finally, we made sure all wall boards were displayed to showcase how the different teams were working and performing against set KPI’s.

Step Four

Measuring Results

After completion, New Vehicle Solutions benefited from increased telephony performance and availability. There were reduced risks through the use of reliable Polycom equipment and implementation of a lines and calls solution. This has saved the business 44% on their connectivity and telecom spends to reinvest in other areas of the business.
