Gas World Ltd and CSG have worked together for a number of years, providing day–to–day support which started around implementing the Pegasus Opera 3 System and Managed Support service; this then opened up new areas for CSG to explore. 

When CSG first started working with Gas World, they were moved over to the CSG MSP 360° programme, where their systems are monitored on a 24/7 basis.  

CSG provided Gas World Ltd with a full audit during 2023, with a focus on: 

  • Enhancing their security 
  • Ageing hardware  
  • Backups 

From the audit, we implemented the following changes: 

  • Replaced ageing hardware – Switch and UPS 
  • Replaced old server with new Physical Server 
  • Both onsite and offsite Office Backups 
  • Enhanced their office 365 licences 
  • MFA – Multi-Factor Authentication  
  • Azure AD Premium Licences 
  • Email security: Defender 365

The Office 365 Licence Enhancements have empowered Gas World Ltd to optimise their workflow efficiency, streamline communication and collaboration amongst teams to easily work together through the use of cloud-based solutions that Office 365 provides.

CSG provided Gas World Ltd with a quick solution to their ageing hardware by implementing both Switch & UPS software. 

Uninterruptible power supplies, also known as UPS, offer backup power, safeguarding equipment against potential damage caused by grid power failures. They swiftly provide power to equipment during such occurrences, ensuring protection from harm. 

A reliable UPS has provided Gas World Ltd with reliable protection against common power disturbances, including power spikes, voltage dips or fluctuations. This has allowed Gas World Ltd to maintain business efficiency though the software through reduction of costly downtime to the essential services they provide.
